Amanda is a Theatre performer, teacher, and communications professional. She currently teaches Theatre at Cab Calloway School of the Arts. Amanda holds undergraduate degrees in Education (Elementary and Special Education) from University of Delaware and a Masters from Villanova University (Theatre).  In addition to performing and teaching acting at theaters in the Wilmington and greater Philadelphia areas, Amanda additionally worked as the Marketing Manger for the Delaware Theatre Company and Director of Communications for the Delaware College of Art and Design. Above all, Amanda has a passion for singing, acting and performing for young children. Recently, Amanda has appeared in a number of Philadelphia Fringe Festival shows geared towards young children, including co-writing/ producing and playing the role of Wendy in a Peter Pan adaptation titled “Wendy and Peter,” as well as playing the the role of Queen Annie in an original play for preschoolers called “Rainbowtown,” performed at Act Two Playhouse. Additionally, Amanda has performed as a puppeteer for various video projects, most recently puppeteering for the Professor 13 educational video series and app, as well as appeared in various commercial campaigns.  Some of Amanda’s favorite roles include Gypsy (title role), Oliver (Nancy), A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to the Forum (Philia), and Anything Goes (Hope Harcourt).
